Megalopolis. He does the best he can, but struggles to keep the doors open with only one paying patient. After firing his secretary (and Girlfriend) Jasmine, Warren’s life changes forever. The day she left, the Wrecking ball walked in.

The Couch

Most of the time furniture isn’t really a character, but in a comic called The Couch, how could it not be? The Couch has been with Warren since college. It was found at the curb, discarded like a piece of unwanted trash. The Couch and Warren have been inseparable for nearly a decade. Though It may be old, and some might consider it ratty, it’s a good Couch.

Wrecking Ball

The Wrecking Ball is a hero of Megalopolis. A member of the Ultra Squad, he spends his nights protecting the city from super-villains and petty criminals alike. He fills his days fixing the damage in his day job as Mr. Fix-It. Something isn’t right in the Wrecking Ball’s life though. Through a simple twist of fate, he finds himself in Warren’s care.

Jasmine

Jasmine Rodriguez is a pre-med student. She had the perfect job working for her boyfriend, Dr. Warren J. Lee, in his psychiatry office, until he let her go. Now Jasmine is bitter and alone, but knows she’ll have the last laugh as Warren is lost without her. She may have lost her job and boyfriend, but she’ll be fine – she’s a strong independent woman and love is in the air.

Johnny

Jung-Ho “Johnny” Kim works in the Megalopolis City Planner’s office. He has a photographic memory, an avoidant personality, and a wicked case of OCD. Johnny lives with his overbearing mother and battles his co-workers on a daily basis. His only refuge comes in the form of his sessions with Warren. Where they are making “progress.”

Mr. Ling

Mr. Ling is Warren’s landlord. He’s constantly having to hound Warren for rent. He lives in Warren’s building with his precocious niece Jiang-Li Ling. Mr. Ling just wants everyone to pay their rent on time, but perhaps there’s more to him than meets the eye…

Ultra Squad

The Ultra Squad and it’s members are the defenders of Megalopolis. They’re so good at their job, that super-villains have become a thing of the past. But that doesn’t stop them from helping the good citizens with even the smallest of problems. Anything to keep their city safe and sound!

Todd

Todd is the leader of the Ultra Squad. He’s the most powerful superhero in Megalopolis, but is more interested in having a good time than saving the day. Luckily, his team has his back and the day does always get saved. You can always find Todd in the hippest new club, or enjoying the company of Megalopolis’s most eligible bachelorettes. Todd has no need for a secret identity; he’s just Todd and that’s how he likes it.

Insight

Insight is telepathic. She can read minds with great accuracy and from great distances. Her powers have been invaluable for years to the Ultra Squad in efforts to locate missing persons and villains alike. The voices in her head are never easy to drown out and make it life very difficult.

InvisDouble

Invisigirl/Invisiboy

InvisDouble are twins with the power to become invisible. As members of the Ultra Squad, their ability to sneak in and out of sticky situations while working in perfect sync is a great asset to the team. The siblings are incredibly co-dependent, maybe too co-dependent. Their abilities are linked, with their state of visibility being constantly in tune.

 

Torrent

Height: 5’7

Torrent has the power to control water…all aspects of water. She is incredibly powerful, more so than she even knows. As a member of the Ultra Squad, she does what she has to to help the team, but doesn’t ever feel like it’s good enough. Torrent is constantly hounded by the criticisms of the media about her weight and costume choices.
